Interface icons
Interface icons are by Isocons, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International.
Novexus and SafeSurf use Isocons v2.1, downloaded directly from the creator’s website on September 13–14 and October 6, 2026. The edge / sharp / left variants retain their original path geometry and viewBoxes. Export styling follows NDS: white 5.5-unit outlines, rounded line caps and joins, and no fill.
The Novexus site uses Shield Lock, Arrow Outward, Person, Menu, and Menu Open. SafeSurf uses House, Report, Network Node, Privacy Tip, Refresh, Arrow Outward, Manage Search, Cancel Circle, Verified User, Monitoring, Package, and Shield Lock.
Design and product marks
The Novexus Design Standard (NDS) supplies the shared typography, spacing, interaction treatments, and visual conventions. SafeSurf adds its green security palette on its own pages.
The Novexus wordmark, KLU cube mark and word, and SafeSurf shield-and-wave are product branding supplied for these projects. They are separate from the Isocons library and its license.
On the James Kosmach page, the X and LinkedIn icons are from Bootstrap Icons v1.13.1, licensed under MIT, with the fill set to white. The University of Illinois logo and the Tesla wordmark are from Wikimedia Commons and the Veridiam logo is from veridiam.com, all shown in white. These names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to link to those profiles and companies.
SafeSurf reports and demo data
A report on SafeSurf records what a node observed. It is unverified until it has been investigated and is not proof of malicious activity. The demo on the SafeSurf site uses fictional data. Visiting the SafeSurf site installs nothing on your device, and the site takes no action against anything that is reported.
